Grass glow

An interesting and pretty photo I definitely enjoy the background lighting but I feel overall there is a lack of focus really on the plants. While I feel the grass should be the main focal area, everytime I look at this photo I am immediately drawn to the background lights in the middle first and then the lights to the right side near the car. Despite the crispness of the foreground grass I still find them to be acting more secondary to that light source instead of grasping attention. One thing I noted was in your tags it mentions this being in the morning light and it does seem to be around that golden hour lighting. Perhaps messing with angles and framing could help alter this dramatically and give those foreground elements more oomph. Since it may be that golden hour lighting, or even just that harsh morning light that's strong and directional, you could get a lot more contrast out of this kind of set up. A big reason I feel the grass is so subdued is because of the lack of contrast in those areas. The flowers seem to have a similar value to the rest of the piece and therefore allowing the speckled lights in the background to take full attention.

I guess it boils down to your intention though. This type of piece would be really lovely for a background image to a magazine advertisement or something along that vein. It definitely works well in a subtle sense to allow something else that isn't there to stand out. However, on its own I can't help but feel it's a bit lackluster unfortunately!
